I would like to again add my voice to the chorus of support for the staff of the federal Case Processing Center (CPC) in Vegreville.
Being the MLA of a small rural Albertan community, I fully appreciate the impact of the threatened job losses. Rural Alberta is full of competent and colourful people.
The federal government’s proposal would cut 280 jobs from the community, with devastating impact on local businesses, property value, and the staff residing in Vegreville.
Respect rural Alberta.
Respect Vegreville, and the CPC workers there.
